The first years of my career were spent cutting my teeth at Sector 9 in it's early days. I left the company after about 6 years to pursue a different project, but I remain friends with the crew and have continued to contribute graphics from time to time.
From 2004 through 2010 I served as creative director for this environmentally conscious brand. I got on board during the company's infancy, working from my apartment while we warehoused in the founder's garage. I was responsible for everything from brand identity to apparel and accessory design to photography and catalog layout. Mission Playground was a small, beloved brand with the tees being the nucleus of the program. These represent a small selection of some of my favorites.

The Kinda Sutra
When Fuel TV was in full swing it was full of youthful creative energy. They created a series of on air promos that were done by a variety of artists working in the action sports industry. Over 120 hours of late night water coloring and illustration work at my kitchen table resulted in the "puppets" I handed over to the motion graphics team at Stardust. They took my story boards and transformed them into this 30 second spot. The song is thanks to a guy named Burd Early.
